About me

Who do I think I am…

I consider myself a vehicle of hope, challenge and change. My life work has shaped my understanding of the realities of the human experience. As such, I have gained an acute sense of the ‘other’ – and often, proverbially, place myself in their shoes.

What I do …

I gained the bulk of my work experience at the University of Toronto, having worked there for 16 years.

I worked as a Senior IT Professional at the University of Toronto, where I designed, planned, and implemented advanced network protocols over the the campus backbone to deliver high speed network, file, storage, and multimedia services in a heterogeneous computing environment.

Moreover, I have been involved in infrastructure architecting at the Faculty of Arts and Science.

The combination of 20 years of industry experience, work, training and formal education in the arts and sciences gives me unique perspective in my profession.

What are my research interests…

My current computing research interests include mobile network applications, protocols and infrastructure.

The Challenges…
